Vocalization is the most complex human behavior. Selected by evolution, we coordinate over 100 muscles in a dynamic system within milliseconds. Unlike other motor skills, singing requires a wider variety of inputs and time combined with an understanding of cortical signaling of our instruments to better target pedagogical goals.
